‘‘Ivory frame handled Bowie’’

This large bowie knife was forged from six individual bars of modified twist damascus, it has a double hollow ground blade with a strong central ridge.

The grip is made in the ‘‘frame handle’’ style, combining the strenght of a full tang with the ability to slide on a guard and spacers. This style is commonly seen on high end knives from the 19th century.

The handle is made from hot blued steel and bronze, all polished to a high finish.

The grip scales are made of some extremely nice mammoth bark ivory, secured with bronze pins.
